The vineyard shares the same name as the original Llangibby Estate near Usk in Wales, which has been in the hands of the Addams Williams family for over 400 years.

Beneath the ancient castle with the ancient spelling stood this magnificent house built for Sir Trevor Williams in the 17th century.
